# Change your email address

> On Android, open Settings, then Profile, and tap the email. Lyfta sends you to my.lyfta.app to update it.

Change the email stored on the Lyfta account you are signed into. Workouts and history stay on that account.

## On Android

1. Open the Progress tab and tap the settings icon.
2. Tap Profile.
3. On Edit profile, tap the email under your photo.
4. Lyfta opens [my.lyfta.app/settings/profile](https://my.lyfta.app/settings/profile). Sign in there if the page asks, then update the email.

Name, photo, and bio save from Edit profile. The email does not. There is no separate Change email button in the app.

> **Note:** Use an inbox you can open. The account keeps the previous address until the change on that page is finished.

## You can’t open the current email

This path only works while you are signed into the account. If you don’t recognize the address, or you can’t sign in with it, email support@lyfta.app. Include the address on the account, the address you want, and whether you usually sign in with email, Google, or Apple.
