# Connect Lyfta to Apple Health

> Send a finished Lyfta workout to Apple Health on iPhone.

A finished Lyfta workout can be written to Apple Health on iPhone. This does not read your weight from Apple Health into your Lyfta profile, and it does not put the live session on Apple Watch.

## Add a workout to Apple Health

1. Finish the workout in Lyfta.
2. Use Add to Apple Health on that workout if it is not already listed.
3. Open Apple Health and confirm the workout is there.

A session left open is not sent.

## If Apple Health stays empty

1. Open the Apple Health app.
2. Go to Data Access & Devices, then Lyfta.
3. Allow Lyfta to write workouts.
4. Finish one new workout in Lyfta and check Apple Health again.

Apple Health does not store sets, reps, and load the way Lyfta history does. Check the workout in Lyfta when those details are what you need.

## Counted twice

Start the workout in Lyfta only. A separate Traditional Strength Training session on Apple Watch can write a second workout. See [Lyfta on Apple Watch](/article/lyfta-on-apple-watch).
