# How to delete your account

> Permanently delete your Lyfta account and personal data from Settings. Cancel Premium first so you are not charged again.

You can permanently delete your Lyfta account and the personal data stored with it from Settings. Deleting the account does not cancel Premium.

## Cancel Premium first

If you still have Premium, [cancel it](/article/how-to-cancel-premium) before you delete the account. Otherwise the store can keep charging you after the account is gone.

- **iPhone:** Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lyfta → Cancel Subscription.
- **Android:** Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lyfta → Cancel subscription.
- **In the Lyfta app:** Settings → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription, when Lyfta bills you.

## Delete your account

1. Open the Progress tab and tap the settings icon.
2. Open the account settings section.
3. Select the option to delete your account and confirm.

> **This cannot be undone.** Workouts, your profile, and other personal data on the account are removed.

## If you cannot find the option

Email support@lyfta.app from the address on the account and say you want the account deleted. If a charge is the reason, say whether you subscribed on iPhone or Android so the subscription can be pointed to the right store.
