If you received an email claiming to be from Lyfta and something seems off, here's how to check if it's real.

## Real Lyfta emails

Lyfta sends emails from addresses ending in **@lyfta.app**. Legitimate emails include:

- Account verification and password reset
- Subscription and billing confirmations
- Product updates and announcements (if you opted in)
- Responses to support requests from support@lyfta.app

## Signs of a fake email

**Suspicious sender address:** The email comes from a domain that isn't lyfta.app (for example, lyfta-support.com, lyfta.billing.net, or a random string).

**Urgent threats:** "Your account will be deleted in 24 hours" or "Immediate action required" to pressure you.

**Requests for sensitive information:** Asking for your password, full credit card number, or asking you to "verify" your account by entering credentials on an unfamiliar website.

**Strange links:** Hover over links (don't click) to see where they actually go. Real Lyfta links go to lyfta.app, my.lyfta.app, or official app stores.
