# Use Lyfta for free

> Lyfta works without Premium. A trial is optional, and logging stays after you cancel.

You can log workouts without paying. Lyfta Premium is an optional upgrade. Prices and plans are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you subscribe.

## Stay on the free version

The free app includes workout logging, the exercise library, routines you create and save, and basic progress. Leave a plan screen without confirming a purchase, and keep logging.

A trial starts only if you confirm it. Checkout shows the trial length, the price, and the date of the first charge. Eligible plans often include a 14-day trial. The offer on that screen is the one that applies, and you can close it without starting the trial.

If you cannot get back to logging from the plan screen, email support@lyfta.app and say whether the phone is an iPhone or Android.

## What Premium adds

Premium adds the analysis and planning tools on top of logging. That includes workout analysis, weekly and monthly recaps, longer progress charts, strength comparisons, and premium programs. The list and the current price are on [Lyfta Premium](https://www.lyfta.app/subscription). Confirm the offer at checkout before you subscribe.

## After you cancel

[Cancel Premium](/article/how-to-cancel-premium) before the charge date if you are still in a trial. Canceling stops the next charge. It does not remove the account.

Workouts, routines, and history stay. You can keep logging. Premium analysis, recaps, and programs stop when the paid period ends.
