Charged after a trial or renewal

See why Lyfta Premium billed you after a trial or renewal, and how to stop the next charge.

A Lyfta Premium trial turns into a paid plan when the trial ends, unless you cancel first. Checkout shows the trial length, the price, and the date of the first charge. Eligible plans often include a 14-day trial, but the offer on your checkout screen is the one that applies.

If the trial has not ended

Cancel before the charge date shown at checkout. That stops the first payment.

Cancel Premium in Lyfta, or in the App Store or Google Play if that is where you started the trial.

Note: Canceling during the trial stops the upcoming charge. It does not return a payment that has already been taken.

If the trial already became a payment

The charge is the plan you started, billing for the first period after the trial. The receipt date should match the end of the trial.

  1. Find the charge in your App Store, Google Play, or card history and note the date and the name on the line.
  2. Cancel Premium so the next period does not bill.
  3. If you did not mean to continue, request a refund from whoever charged you.

If you don’t remember starting a trial

The subscription is on the account or store that started checkout.

  1. In Lyfta, go to Settings → Manage Subscription and see whether a plan is listed.
  2. On iPhone, check Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  3. On Android, check Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  4. Try the other email, Apple ID, or Google account you use with Lyfta.

A charge on a store subscription is refunded by that store, even when the Lyfta account you have open looks free.

Charged after you already canceled

Canceling stops charges after the period you already paid for. A charge dated before you canceled is the period that was already open.

If a new period was billed after you canceled, request a refund and include the date you canceled and a screenshot of the charge. Use the store that billed you, or email support@lyfta.app if the charge says Lyfta.
