Log a workout from the past

Save a session you already did by setting the workout date when you finish it, or by editing the date later.

A past workout is a session you already finished, on an earlier day, that is not in Lyfta yet. Log it like a normal workout, then set the date to the day you trained. The date cannot be in the future.

Set the date when you finish

  1. Start a workout and log the sets.
  2. Finish the workout.
  3. On Finish Workout, tap the date.
  4. Choose the day under Workout performed date, then the time under Select time of day.
  5. Save the workout.

The workout is stored on that day, so history, charts, and the weekly streak use it.

Note: The timer shows how long the logging session was open, not how long you trained last week. On the same Finish Workout screen, tap the duration and set the real length.

Change the date of a saved workout

  1. Open the workout from History.
  2. Open the menu and select Edit.
  3. On Edit Workout, tap the date.
  4. Choose the day and time, then save.

You cannot edit the date while another workout is still in progress. Finish or discard that session first.

The date you want is missing

The picker starts at 1980 and stops at today. A day after today cannot be selected. If the day is missing, you are past today.

Still not in history

Pull to refresh History. The session has to be saved, not discarded. If it is still missing, email support@lyfta.app with the date you set and whether you finished or discarded the workout.
