Your privacy rights

If you're in the EU, EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have rights over your personal data. Lyfta (operated by Lindberg Development AS in Norway) respects these rights.

Your rights under GDPR

Access: Request a copy of the personal data Lyfta holds about you.

Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Erasure: Ask Lyfta to delete your personal data (the "right to be forgotten").

Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format to transfer elsewhere.

Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests, or stop direct marketing.

Restrict processing: Ask Lyfta to limit how your data is used while a concern is resolved.

Withdraw consent: If processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

How to exercise your rights

Access and portability: Email support@lyfta.app to request a copy of your data. See Download your data.

Rectification: Update your profile directly in the app (Settings → Profile), or email support@lyfta.app if you can't.

Erasure: Delete your account from Settings, or email support@lyfta.app. See How to delete your account.

Object, restrict, or withdraw consent: Email support@lyfta.app explaining your request.

We may ask you to verify your identity before responding. We'll reply as soon as possible, and within one month for GDPR requests.

California residents (CCPA)

California residents have similar rights to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Lyfta does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email support@lyfta.app.

Complaints

If you're in the EEA and believe Lyfta hasn't handled your data correctly, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
