Is this Lyfta email legit?

If you received an email claiming to be from Lyfta and something seems off, here's how to check if it's real.

Real Lyfta emails

Lyfta sends emails from addresses ending in @lyfta.app. Legitimate emails include:

• Account verification and password reset
• Subscription and billing confirmations
• Product updates and announcements (if you opted in)
• Responses to support requests from support@lyfta.app

Signs of a fake email

Suspicious sender address: The email comes from a domain that isn't lyfta.app (for example, lyfta-support.com, lyfta.billing.net, or a random string).

Urgent threats: "Your account will be deleted in 24 hours" or "Immediate action required" to pressure you.

Requests for sensitive information: Asking for your password, full credit card number, or asking you to "verify" your account by entering credentials on an unfamiliar website.

Strange links: Hover over links (don't click) to see where they actually go. Real Lyfta links go to lyfta.app, my.lyfta.app, or official app stores.

Poor spelling and grammar: Unusual phrasing or errors that don't match Lyfta's normal communication.

What Lyfta will never ask

• Your password in an email
• Credit card details via email (billing is handled in the app or app stores)
• Payment to an individual or unfamiliar account

If you're unsure

1. Don't click links in the suspicious email.
2. Go directly to lyfta.app or open the Lyfta app to check your account.
3. Forward the email to support@lyfta.app if you want us to verify it.

If you clicked a suspicious link

• Change your Lyfta password immediately.
• Check your account for unfamiliar activity.
• If you entered payment information, contact your bank or card issuer.

If you think your account may be compromised, change your password immediately and email support@lyfta.app.
